April 18: New! Pre-Bid Q&A Session: GIPEC will be conducting an additional pre-bid question and answer session on April 18, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. It will take place at Pershing Hall on Governors Island.

Registration for the RFP is not required to attend this session; however, anyone wishing to attend must RSVP to GIPEC by emailing Jennel Hewan at jhewan@empire.state.ny.us with the names of all Respondent Team members planning to attend.

An RSVP confirmation and photo identification will be required to board the Governors Island ferry. The ferry will be leaving promptly from Slip 7 of the Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan at 9:00 AM. Please arrive at Slip 7 no later than 15 minutes prior to departure in order to comply with security procedures before boarding the ferry. Attendees will be able to return to Manhattan on the 10:45 AM ferry.


 
April, 2006: New! Reference Room Visits: GIPEC will be opening the Reference Room on three additional dates: Friday, April 14; Friday, April 21; and Friday, April 28. The room will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Registration for the RFP is required to visit the reference room. In addition to registering, anyone wishing to visit must RSVP to GIPEC by emailing Jennel Hewan at jhewan@empire.state.ny.us  with the names of all Respondent Team members planning to attend.

  • Note: A GIS database of the Governors Island tree inventory is available to registered Respondents upon request. Please contact GIPEC at DevServ-GIPEC@empire.state.ny.us to request a copy of the tree inventory on a CD. You must include your name, telephone number, registration number and mailing address. Please allow five business days for GIPEC to process your request and to send the CD via first-class mail (mailing time will be in addition to the five day processing period).
