Governors Island opens to the public on June 5 and will be open
every Friday - Sunday through October 10. Visitors will
be able to take a free ferry ride to enjoy miles of car free biking,
art exhibits, performances, artist-designed miniature golf, picnics,
tours and much more.
The Governors Island Park and Public Space Master Plan has been
released and the public is invited to comment. The plan can be viewed
and the public can provide feedback at www.govislandpark.com.
