First Ever Nolan Park Scavenger Hunt Saturday, August 2

The first ever "Explore Nolan" Scavenger Hunt will take place this Saturday beginning at 1 PM. Visitors participating in the hunt will visit the houses in Nolan Park, answering clues about nearly a dozen exhibits that are taking place in former officers' homes there.

Download the scavenger hunt or pick it up a sheet at the Governors Island Alliance (GIA) welcome tables on the Island. Answer 11 questions correctly, take and post a selfie in Nolan Park and complete the scavenger hunt! Then bring the completed sheet to the GIA table at Soissons Landing and get a prize. Visitors can compete in one of three categories: as a team, an individual or a child under 12. The first five teams to complete the hunt get a gift certificate for a free surrey from Blazing Saddles. There are a variety of additional prizes for those in the individuals and children categories. All prizes are provided by a number of organizations and vendors on the Island.
