Book Talk and Signing of “Governors Island: The Jewel of New York Harbor”

On September 22, from 6:30 — 8:00 PM, GIPEC board member Ann Buttenwieser will give a book talk and will sign copies of “Governors Island: The Jewel of New York Harbor,” at the Skyscraper Museum. The book provides fascinating insights into Governors Island’s history and the lives of people who lived here. You won’t want to miss it. Learn more about everything that has happened during the Island’s long history, from soldiers preparing for wars and other conflicts to what it was like to grow up here.
