The combination of great events, a variety of food, and a beautiful park entices visitors to the Island. Last season we had an average of 20,000 visitors every weekend! This year, the Trust is excited to open over 200,000 square feet of indoor space in our historic buildings for programming, and the Colonels Row Festival Grounds and Nolan Park for outdoor programming. We are also looking for food vendors to submit applications for season long permits or single weekend permits. We are thrilled to welcome you to our seven day a week expanded access season! We are currently accepting proposals for programming space, which can be applied for online through our website. Some of our events from last season can be viewed here. [/caption] We love food on Governors Island and the 20,000 visitors we had on average every weekend last season do to! As a vendor you can apply for a permit to sell for a single weekend or for the whole season. If you would like to apply for a single weekend permit look here.
