“Classroom on the Water” Harbor School Documentary Premieres Monday

You can learn more about the Harbor School by tuning in on Monday, September 13 at 9pm to NYC life (channel 25) for the première of “Classroom on the Water: The Urban Assembly New York Harbor School.” This documentary chronicles the achievements of the Harbor School and its journey to its new home on Governors Island. NYC life is the flagship station of NYC Media, the official network of the City of New York. Produced by NYC Media, the half hour special follows the Harbor School from its original landlocked home in Bushwick, Brooklyn to a new state-of-the-art facility here on Governors Island. From its dedicated teaching staff to its four hundred students looking to making a difference in the world, Classroom on the Water explores the school’s unique curriculum: every academic subject relates to the water surrounding New York City.
