Count­down to July 4th week­end on Gov­er­nors Island

Come enjoy all things free on Gov­er­nors Island this July 4th week­end. Come take advan­tage of Free Bike Fri­days on Fri­day from 10 to 5, or two out­stand­ing free con­certs on Sat­ur­day. At 1:30, Janis Ian kicks off Trin­i­ty Wall Street’s Folks on the Island con­cert series on Colonels Row. At 6:30 PM, the New York Phil­har­mon­ic will play a free con­cert on the Island’s his­toric Parade Grounds. The con­cert will con­clude with a rous­ing ver­sion of the 1812 Over­ture and can­non fire! Come out and enjoy July 4th week­end on Gov­er­nors Island!
