Escape to Yoga Island

[cap­tion id=“attachment_4665” align=“aligncenter” width=“300” caption=“Governors Island will host two upcom­ing yoga events this week­end and next.”][/​caption] The weath­er will be beau­ti­ful this week­end and it is the per­fect time to come out to Gov­er­nors Island and do yoga with the best back­drops in New York City. Lul­ule­mon is bring­ing yoga and music to the Island this week­end. The pro­grams run from 10 AM to 5 PM. They are entire­ly free and 90 minute class­es will be offered in Med­i­ta­tion, Acro Yoga, Budokon, and Yoga for Run­ners. And, if you can’t make it this week­end, you can come out on August 14th for a yoga pro­gram fea­tur­ing Sri Dhar­ma Mit­tra. The free class­es, lec­tures, med­i­ta­tion and activ­i­ties will also take place on Colonels Row between 10 AM and 4 PM. All you need to do is jump on the free fer­ry, bring your own mat and head down to Colonels Row.
