Get a sneak peek at some of the West 8 team’s ideas for the park and public space on Governors Island

[caption id=“attachment_1236” align=“alignnone” width=“468” caption=“West 8 sketch of Governors Island ”][/caption] On Friday, April 24th, West 8 will update the public on all that they have been working on for the Governors Island Park and Public Space Master Plan. Adriaan Geuze, founder of West 8, will discuss the team’s work in progress, and explore various design concepts for the future park, including new topography, new places to bike, play and explore. This will be a chance for you to come out and get a sneak peek at these ideas before the entire Park and Public Space Master Plan is released at the end of May. So come out to the Center for Architecture in two weeks to learn more about their ideas for the Island’s future.
