Get into the swing of fall with a par­ty at Water Taxi Beach

Next Thurs­day, Octo­ber 8, the Gov­er­nors Island Alliance and the Urban Assem­bly New York Har­bor School are cel­e­brat­ing the end of Gov­er­nors Island’s rea­cord break­ing sea­son with a beach par­ty at Water Taxi Beach. The par­ty is in recog­ni­tion of the part­ners and groups that work with Gov­er­nors Island and have made this sea­son such an incred­i­ble one. The beach par­ty starts at 5:30 PM and for $25 you will be treat­ed to live music, food and drinks. Gov­er­nors Island is won­der­ful in the ear­ly fall — so don’t miss out on one of the last chances you will have to enjoy it in the evening. Come out and cel­e­brate the suc­cess of the 2009 sea­son! If you wish to attend the beach par­ty, you can RSVP by con­tact­ing the Gov­er­nors Island Alliance.
