Get into the swing of fall with a party at Water Taxi Beach

Next Thursday, October 8, the Governors Island Alliance and the Urban Assembly New York Harbor School are celebrating the end of Governors Island’s reacord breaking season with a beach party at Water Taxi Beach. The party is in recognition of the partners and groups that work with Governors Island and have made this season such an incredible one. The beach party starts at 5:30 PM and for $25 you will be treated to live music, food and drinks. Governors Island is wonderful in the early fall — so don’t miss out on one of the last chances you will have to enjoy it in the evening. Come out and celebrate the success of the 2009 season!
