Combining graphic design and glass making, partnering artists will explore the use of this unique medium. The Corning Museum of Glass in upstate New York boasts over 400,000 visitors per year, and “allows visitors to experience the energy of artists and designers at work.” Following their partnership with the Cooper Hewitt, the Corning Museum will continue to showcase their work both nationally and internationally. So make sure to come out to the island and get treated to a unique and special look into the glass making process as well as the finished pieces!
