Jill Urban came out to the Island last week to take a tour and hear about the development of the Island. Even when the Island is closed to the public, there is a great deal of construction and activity happening here. She got to peek inside Building 110, which is currently undergoing construction for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s artist studio program that will open at the end of the year. She also highlighted Water Taxi Beach and the Urban Assembly New York Harbor School. The school will open to public high school students in 2010
