[/caption] The good people at Travel and Leisure have named Governors Island one of America’s Coolest Urban Parks! We think that they were taken by our extraordinary views, the eclectic array of programming that organizations bring to Island visitors, five miles of car-free biking and free ferries from Manhattan and Brooklyn. We are sure that the hundreds of thousands of visitors the Island will begin to welcome in a few weeks will feel exactly the same way and will take advantage of all the Island has to offer.
