Gov­er­nors Island’s incred­i­ble visitors

A record num­ber of vis­i­tors have come to Gov­er­nors Island this sum­mer to ride bikes, pic­nic, play Fig­men­t’s artist designed minia­ture golf course, see art exhi­bi­tions, lis­ten to con­certs, and just relax and enjoy the view. As we look back on the past few months of being open to the pub­lic, we real­ized that Gov­er­nors Island vis­i­tors are real­ly a won­der­ful group of peo­ple. We have been thrilled to wel­come artists, chil­dren and fam­i­lies, thou­sands of bike rid­ers, won­der­ful per­form­ers, rock stars, New York­ers, vis­i­tors from coun­tries across the globe, and even roy­al­ty. Below are some snap­shots of the vis­i­tors we have had to Gov­er­nors Island so far this year (as you can see, some even like to dress up when they vis­it!)
