Hun­dreds of vis­i­tors have jumped, or swung, at the oppor­tu­ni­ty to relax in the new Gov­er­nors Island ham­mocks. Maybe lay­ing back look­ing at the sky and clouds or the leafy cov­er of a Lon­don Plane tree isn’t your style? As of this week­end, you can instead choose one of the dozens of bright red Adiron­dack chairs that can be found at Pic­nic Point and around the Island. We con­tin­ue to add more and more ways for you to stop, take in the views, have a pic­nic, chat with friends or just enjoy the qui­et. This week­end, take advan­tage of the long-absent sun­shine; pack your paper, pick up a cof­fee at one of the Island ven­dors and do some­thing extra­or­di­nary… sit!
