Seer sucker and parasols were a common sight on Governors Island this weekend (photo from Humans of New York)[/caption] The smooth sounds of Michael Arenella and the Dreamland Orchestra once again wafted over Colonels Row this past Saturday and Sunday. Visitors from across New York City and elsewhere descended on Governors Island in fabulous vintage dresses and suits, taking everyone back to the roaring 1920’s.
