[/caption] West 8, the leaders of the team designing the new park and public spaces on Governors Island, has been selected to design an important new civic park in Miami Beach. An announcement this weekend in The Miami Herald trumpeted that West 8 is known for “…delivering euporically original urban designs on a budget…” (read more here ). Lincoln Park will front a new concert hall designed by Frank Gehry scheduled to open in 2011. Congratulations to the City of Miami Beach and the New World Symphony for an inspired choice.
