On Sunday, from 11AM to 6PM, Colonels Row will once again be transformed into a 1920’s Jazz Age Lawn Party. So don’t be surprised if you see flappers and vintage cars coming over on the ferry with you. Admission to the Lawn Party is $5, which is one of the best deals in town considering you can get charleston lessons, see cars from the 1920’s, sample treats at the bake sale, and listen to the sweet sounds of the orchestra playing under the shade of our London Plane trees. There are only two weekends left to visit Governors Island so come out this weekend and experience one of Governors Island’s great events.
