New York Brewfest Comes to Gov­er­nors Island This June

[cap­tion id=“attachment_2996” align=“aligncenter” width=“211” caption=“Fourth annu­al New York Brewfest, a craft beer sam­pling event and fes­ti­val, is com­ing to Gov­er­nors Island on June 19”][/​caption] This sum­mer, for the first time ever, NY Brewfest is com­ing to Gov­er­nors Island. The 4th annu­al NY Brewfest, pre­sent­ed by Heart­land Brew­ery, will be held on Sat­ur­day, June 19th, 2010 from 3:30 PM until 8:00PM on Gov­er­nors Island. The fes­ti­val is a cel­e­bra­tion of craft beer and will show­case sam­plings from New York State’s out­stand­ing brew­eries. NY Brewfest is a craft beer sam­pling event sanc­tioned by the New York State Brew­ers Asso­ci­a­tion. Admis­sion allows sam­plings from over 300 styles of hand­craft­ed beers from more than 100 brew­eries. Great local foods will be avail­able for pur­chase, and New York bands will per­form through­out the day and evening. Vis­i­tors to the fes­ti­val can take the free Gov­er­nors Island fer­ry, or a water taxi from Pier 11, Brook­lyn or New Jer­sey. NY Brewfest is only open to adults 21 years and old­er. Tick­ets are required for the event and can be pur­chased here.
