NPR’s Week­end Edi­tion fea­tures sto­ry on the Urban Assem­bly New York Har­bor School com­ing to Gov­er­nors Island

NPR’s Week­end Edi­tion fea­tured a sto­ry about the Urban Assem­bly New York Har­bor School com­ing to Gov­er­nors Island. The Har­bor School’s own Mur­ray Fish­er took Jac­ki Lyden on a tour of the school and intro­duced her to stu­dents who dis­cussed the cur­ricu­lum and activ­i­ties that the school offers. Build­ing 550 on Gov­er­nors Island is cur­rent­ly under con­struc­tion and is the future home of the Har­bor School. The school will open on the Island in Sep­tem­ber 2010.
