Preview the View!

Preview the view from the top of Outlook Hill, 70 feet above New York Harbor! The Hills have just reached full height and to celebrate, we are inviting ALL our visitors to experience them for themselves. For two days only, visitors can go to the Hills construction site, walk to the top of Outlook Hill, and experience an unparalleled 360 degree panoramic view of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty.

The Hills will be open from 11 AM to 4 PM on both Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. What better way to mark the end of our public season! There will a bike valet and selfie sticks for all. And, to make it even easier for our visitors from Brooklyn, on Sunday, September 27 (our last public day), there will be ferry service every half hour from Brooklyn!

For suggested walking routes to the Hills, please download the map, and don’t forget to tag us in your posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with #previewtheview and #govislandhills.

Come out and see why the Hills are the culmination of the Island’s park and once completed, will truly be a must-see destination.
