Sneak Peek: Fête Par­adiso Opens July 13 on Gov­er­nors Island

ete ParadisoAs pre­viewed in numer­ous press out­lets, includ­ing this week’s New York­er, Gov­er­nors Island will be play­ing host to Fête Par­adiso, a spec­tac­u­lar col­lec­tion of vin­tage minia­ture carousals. From bumper cars to the tra­di­tion­al merry-go-‘rounds, vis­i­tors both young and old, will be able to expe­ri­ence this mag­nifique fair­ground fes­ti­val set against the back­drop of the Island’s his­toric dis­trict. This week­end, you will be able to see the French fam­i­ly of arti­sans who spe­cial­ize in repair­ing and con­struct­ing muse­um-qual­i­ty carousels build­ing the attrac­tions in Nolan Park. The group has been flown to New York espe­cial­ly for the pur­pose of putting up the Fête Paradiso’s his­toric amuse­ments. To learn more:  See you on the Island.
