This Fri­day Gov­er­nors Island is host to a whole bunch of activ­i­ties. Start­ing tomor­row there will be a free kite exhi­bi­tion in Build­ing 4! Check out the wild, wacky and amaz­ing kites on dis­play. The exhi­bi­tion has been pro­duced by the Gov­er­nors Island Alliance. After look­ing at the show, be sure to fly a kite your­self down at Pic­nic Point, where the Man­hat­tan Youth will be teach­ing kids their kite fly­ing skills! And if fly­ing kites isn’t your thing, let the Down­town Boathouse take you to sea lev­el with free kayak­ing lessons.

 Kayak­ing and kite lessons will be around from 11:00 to 4:00 on Fri­day, and on Sat­ur­day there will be free kayak­ing as well.
