Rite of Summer Classical Music Festival featuring Ljova and Kontraband; Saturday 1:00PM — 3:00 PM The Rite of Summer Music Festival is back for its second season with a series of exhilarating fun and FREE outdoor concerts. GlassLab presented by the Corning Museum; Saturday & Sunday 11:00 AM- 6:30 PM, Outside of Pershing Hall Watch the dynamic hot glassmaking performances as top contemporary designers join artists from the Cooper Hewitt in a collaboration to convert their 2‑D projects (from the exhibition Graphic Design-Now in Production) into three-dimensional glass form. Cook Out NYC; Saturday & Sunday 12:00 PM — 3:00 PM; TICKETED event, Colonel’s Row NYC’s most original country fair! Chef and bbq’ers will grill outdoors and burger cook off and kimichi eating contest will be held as well. Thirsty after all this food?
