Tired of the hustle and bustle of New York City? Ferry over to Governors Island this weekend for a nice little retreat. Go for a bike ride, have a picnic, or just sit by the water and enjoy the incredible views. We also have plenty of art exhibits, art workshops, and even a poetry festival! Hope to see you here!

GlassLab presented by The Corning Museum of Glass, 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Watch dynamic hot glassmaking performances with top contemporary designers as they bring new ideas to life in collaboration with master glassmakers from The Corning Museum of Glass. Opening of PUBLIC SUMMER: Library of Immediacy by SUPERFRONT, Saturday, 2 PM – 5 PM on the Parade Ground
Join SUPERFRONT and Figment in celebrating the opening of the outdoor installation, PUBLIC SUMMER: Library of Immediacy, on Governors Island. The Library of Immediacy was designed and constructed by the architectural duo, saA, who are Amy Chang and Seo Young Shin. The event will include a performance by artist Devin Kenny, a reading by Nicole Wallace and Will Edmiston, and live music. The instillation will remain on Governors Island until September 23.
