Who Will Win the Vendy Cup?

The final­ists who will bat­tle it out for the cov­et­ed title are: 
  • Bistro Truck (Moroc­can-Mediter­ranean Bistro)
  • El Rey de Sabor (Puebla Style Mexican)
  • King of Falafel and Shawar­ma (Mid­dle Eastern)
  • Pat­a­con Pisao (Venezue­lan Street Food)
  • Schnitzel and Things (Aus­tri­an cui­sine with a new Amer­i­can twist)
The Vendys are a tick­et­ed event and all tick­ets pro­ceeds ben­e­fit the Street Ven­dor Project. Tick­ets to the event are sold out, but for Gov­er­nors Island vis­i­tors with­out tick­ets, three pre­vi­ous Vendy Award win­ners will be on the Island sell­ing their food on Sat­ur­day. So you can still come out and enjoy a day of free art exhibits, minia­ture golf, ham­mocks and fun and then pur­chase a snack or two from some pre­vi­ous hold­ers of the Vendy Cup.
