Soil Factory Manifesto Scribing Initiative

The pub­lic is invit­ed to join the Soil Fac­to­ry ​“Man­i­festo Scrib­ing Ini­tia­tive” as part of an exhi­bi­tion includ­ing Lin­da Wein­traub, Ben Alt­man, Anna David­son, and Johannes Lehmann, who togeth­er explore soil in terms of eco-sen­so­ry mate­ri­al­i­ty, social his­to­ry, eco­log­i­cal doc­u­men­ta­tion, and soil sci­ence research. Vis­i­tors are invit­ed to place pen in hand and ​“man­i­fest” their most ardent beliefs and hope­ful con­vic­tions, com­pose and scribe their own man­i­festo, or copy some­one else’s. Guests can enjoy a reprieve from dis­en­gaged tech­no­log­i­cal effi­cien­cies. Expe­ri­ence the body’s tem­po and rhythm. Man­u­al, men­tal, visu­al coin­cide here.
