A Forest Deconstructed Photography Exhibition Launch

Join the The New York Cli­mate Exchange on Gov­er­nors Island for the open­ing recep­tion of A For­est Decon­struct­ed, a new out­door pho­tog­ra­phy exhi­bi­tion explor­ing the rela­tion­ship between cli­mate, nature, and the built envi­ron­ment through the work of Dutch pho­tog­ra­ph­er Witho Worms and poet Kai Dia­ta Gio­van­ni.

This site-spe­cif­ic exhi­bi­tion aims to spark curios­i­ty and cli­mate aware­ness, con­nec­tion the nat­ur­al ori­gins of wood to the future of sus­tain­able con­struc­tion and the forth­com­ing mass tim­ber cam­pus of The New York Cli­mate Exchange on Gov­er­nors Island. 

Guests will explore the exhi­bi­tion, learn more about sus­tain­able mate­ri­als, and join a con­ver­sa­tion with the artist. Light refresh­ments will be provided.
