Assemble Your Alien Collage Workshop

Join oil painter Yooyeon Nam for a hands-on col­lage work­shop cre­at­ing imper­fect, unique char­ac­ters that reflect feel­ing like an out­sider and how we piece our­selves togeth­er to sur­vive. Par­tic­i­pants choose print­ed heads, bod­ies, and limbs designed by Nam, assem­ble them on can­vas boards, and paint the back­ground. The process encour­ages per­son­al inter­pre­ta­tion, emo­tion­al expres­sion, and cel­e­brates imper­fec­tion, indi­vid­u­al­i­ty, and resilience, explor­ing hybrid, and alien qual­i­ties while reflect­ing on iden­ti­ty, oth­er­ness, and cre­ative survival.
