BEDSIDE

BEDSIDE is a special interactive work from artist Ayelet Amrani Navon, who will host one-on-one half hour sessions where she will draw upon her lullaby archive and sit by each individual’s side as she sings them to sleep. The lullabies will take individuals on a cyclical journey of song, chant, and spoken word inspired by Governors Island and by Amrani Navon’s own Yemeni and American (US) heritage, Hebrew, and Ladino. The artist welcomes the contribution of participants’ own memories of lullabies and bedtime sounds to add to her archive.

Sessions are free; registration is required. Visit the link below to book.
