Botanical Thinking

Botan­i­cal Think­ing presents plants not sim­ply as sub­jects of rep­re­sen­ta­tion, but as a way of under­stand­ing ecol­o­gy, mate­ri­al­i­ty, and our inter­con­nect­ed rela­tion­ship with the nat­ur­al world. Through hand­made paper and plant-based mate­ri­als, Chung-Ying Hou invites view­ers to recon­sid­er how nature can shape artis­tic prac­tice and con­tem­po­rary envi­ron­men­tal thought.
