Cellist Sophie Shao, winner of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant and top prizes at the Rostropovich and Tchaikovsky competitions, will play Adolphus Hailstork’s Sonata for Solo Cello, Lera Auerbach’s La Suite dels Ocells and Tan Dun’s Intercourse of Fire and Water at this performance, presented by BronxArtSpace.
