Climate Chronicles: Stories from a Changing World

Join New Women New Yorkers for the season finale of their residency on Governors Island as they host a playful, hands-on storytelling workshop. Participants will learn how to turn a real memory into a story others can feel, remember, and want to revisit.

Why climate? Because facts alone rarely move people, but stories do. As one of New York’s growing hubs for climate solutions, Governors Island is the perfect place to share these stories.

This event is free and open to all. Experience in climate and storytelling is not required, just curiosity and an open heart.

New Women New Yorkers is one of the 2026 Governors Island Arts Organizations in Residence.
