Climate Imaginarium 2025 Opening Party

The Cli­mate Imag­i­nar­i­um is a cen­ter for cli­mate, com­mu­ni­ty, and cul­ture, oper­at­ed by a coali­tion of uni­ver­si­ties, cul­tur­al insti­tu­tions, media orga­ni­za­tions, and arts non­prof­its. Last sum­mer, they wel­comed near­ly 5,000 vis­i­tors through 100+ events, exhi­bi­tions, per­for­mances, and film screen­ings that respond­ed to the cli­mate cri­sis with solu­tions and visions for hope and jus­tice. They’re return­ing with big plans for 2025!

Join them at Build­ing 406A on Colonels Row for a live­ly cel­e­bra­tion of cli­mate art, sto­ry­telling, and com­mu­ni­ty. Exhi­bi­tions will be open to the pub­lic at noon, and the par­ty will offi­cial­ly start at 1pm.

• Book swap & action with the Brook­lyn chap­ter of Cit­i­zens’ Cli­mate Lob­by.
• Live music by Sam Shaf­fery.
• Appe­tiz­ers by La Bak­e­ria by Alge­ria Veg­ana.

The Cli­mate Imag­i­nar­i­um is one of the 2025 Gov­er­nors Island Arts Orga­ni­za­tions in Res­i­dence.
