Ensemble Shiraz: Iranian Music on Governors Island

Glass Clouds Ensem­ble will host Ensem­ble Shi­raz for an after­noon of Iran­ian clas­si­cal music on Gov­er­nors Island.

Shi­raz is a con­tem­po­rary music group that blends inno­va­tion and tra­di­tion, unit­ing Iran­ian musi­cians per­form­ing on tra­di­tion­al instruments. 

This event is free and open to the pub­lic and will take place at the Glass Clouds Ensem­ble House — a beau­ti­ful com­mu­ni­ty arts space with a cozy liv­ing room salon, porch seat­ing, and sur­round­ing green space. 

Glass Clouds Ensem­ble is one of the 2026 Gov­er­nors Island Arts Orga­ni­za­tions in Res­i­dence.
