Everyone Who Knows What Love Is

AnkhLave Arts Alliance invites you to the acti­va­tion for Any­one Who Knows What Love Is on Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 18. The cen­ter­piece fea­tures liv­ing but­ter­flies, sym­bol­iz­ing the fragili­ty of Sal­vado­ran lives shaped by geno­cide, civ­il war, gang vio­lence, and Amer­i­can inter­ven­tion. The work reflects on dis­place­ment and resilience, as over 2.5 mil­lion Sal­vado­rans have migrat­ed to the U.S., many now fac­ing depor­ta­tion. This acti­va­tion aims to raise aware­ness of the his­tor­i­cal roots of migra­tion and hon­or the endur­ing strength of the Sal­vado­ran community.
