Fall Foliage Walk

Near­ly 3,500 trees make up Gov­er­nors Island’s fall canopy, turn­ing bril­liant shades, pro­vid­ing vital food and shel­ter for native win­ter­ing species, and offer­ing essen­tial ben­e­fits for Island vis­i­tors and all New York­ers. Join the Gov­er­nors Island Nature team for free guid­ed walks, held the week­end of the Island’s annu­al fall fes­ti­val, Pump­kin Point.

Please note: these tours are held entire­ly out­doors on Gov­er­nors Island. Please dress with the weath­er in mind. The pace is leisure­ly, with inter­mit­tent seat­ing options.
