Waves of Change - A World Ocean Day Celebration

Join Cli­mate Imag­i­nar­i­um for an after­noon of com­mu­ni­ty, embrac­ing cre­ativ­i­ty and reflect­ing on the role of the ocean in plan­e­tary well­be­ing ahead of World Ocean Day! Expe­ri­ence For the Love of Sea­weed, an inter­ac­tive and edu­ca­tion­al art exhi­bi­tion by Laiy­onelth Hur­ta­do that invites atten­dees to dis­cov­er the pow­er of sea­weed as a cli­mate solu­tion and the inter­de­pen­dence of coastal com­mu­ni­ties with the ocean through pho­tographs, tex­tile art, audio, and bio­ma­te­ri­als at the Cli­mate Imaginarium.

Cli­mate Imag­i­nar­i­um is one of the 2026 Gov­er­nors Island Arts Orga­ni­za­tions in Res­i­dence.
