Collapsing Landscape: No One Surface the Same as Any Other is a three channel video presentation by artist Jia Jen Lin. The major footage and sounds of calving glaciers were recorded during Lin’s field research with The Arctic Circle expedition around the Svalbard archipelago, Norway, in 2022. Lin explores the notions of and interactions among reconstructions, natural disasters, collapsed landscapes, deformed structures, social violence, the inconstancy of phenomena, memories of loss and trauma, layered fragments in our histories, and Antarctica reflect the longing for nature.

Native Antarctica, Marisa de las Nieves Delgado, presentation will reflect the longing for nature. In the snow-white work, the textures and color explore themes of the human condition such as loneliness and not belonging. In the blue of the sky and sea, we long for a nature that awaits in silence.
