Klimakover Thermal Comfort Study

The Kli­maKover research team will be on Gov­er­nors Island con­duct­ing 15-minute heat sur­veys at their pavil­ion in Liggett Ter­race. Kli­maKover is an exper­i­men­tal out­door cool­ing pavil­ion that pro­vides ther­mal com­fort with­out con­ven­tion­al air con­di­tion­ing. Vis­i­tors can expe­ri­ence Kli­maKover, take a 15-minute sur­vey, and share their ther­mal com­fort expe­ri­ence. Par­tic­i­pa­tion helps researchers devel­op health­i­er and more sus­tain­able out­door cool­ing environments.

Kli­makover is one of the 2026 Gov­er­nors Island Cli­mate Pilots.
