In this invocation of the speculative and defiant, queer ecologies and ecofeminist theory collide with the urgency of planetary exploit. Rejecting human/nature, male/female, wild/domestic binaries, we embrace a world of entangled identities and adaptive agents. Queer ecology teaches us that nature is not a static backdrop but a dynamic, fluid network of relationships that defy categorization. Adaptation is not just survival — it’s resistance. Amidst ecological upheaval, queering the narrative allows for transmorphic potentials. Morphology invites you to envision a future where fluidity is strength, interdependence is hip, and joy is a baddie changemaker. Join Forest For Trees Collective for their opening day of Morphology with an activation by La Brujas Club, an exhibiting artist talk, a performance by Samantha CC and a poetry reading by Eileen Myles.

Forest for Trees Collective is one of the 2025 Governors Island Arts Organizations in Residence.
