New Energy: The Solar Powered Music Festival

A new, ground-break­ing music expe­ri­ence is com­ing to New York City. New Ener­gy is an all-day fes­ti­val, host­ing per­for­mances entire­ly pow­ered by bat­ter­ies charged with solar pow­er. The inau­gur­al event will take place at Gov­er­nors Island’s Parade Ground and the inti­mate Our Lady Star of the Sea chapel, fea­tur­ing live per­for­mances from Earth­e­ater, Jun­gle­pussy, and GIFT, and DJ sets from Doss and Ivan Berko.
