Oth­er­Worlds Fair on Gov­er­nor Island a free, pub­lic fair, designed, led, and run by New York City youth ages 16 – 22 pre­sent­ed by Beam Cen­ter, an arts edu­ca­tion non­prof­it locat­ed in Red Hook Brooklyn

On Sat­ur­day, August 16^th from 11:30 – 4:30, come to Gov­er­nors Island with us as youth exam­ine this year’s theme: ​‘What’s Under the Sur­face’ through show­case exhi­bi­tions, per­for­mances, free work­shops span­ning dis­ci­plines from wood­work­ing to music pro­duc­tion, to tex­tile arts to film­mak­ing to ani­ma­tion and much more!

BEAM Cen­ter is one of the Gov­er­nors Island’s year-round ten­ants.
