As part of Triangle Arts’ first Governors Island residency exhibition of the season, Resident Artist Fellow Ariel Kleinberg presents a large-scale mural installation, on view every Saturday and Sunday, 11am-5pm, through the month of May.

The mural depicts a transformative scene from a comic by the artist, inspired by the allegorical sculptures that adorn the buildings around City Hall. In this story, protesters use spray paint to give life to these stone goddesses, who represent virtues such as Justice, Equality, Liberty, Truth, and Peace, so that they can join the revolution and transform the city into a paradise.
