Chih-Hui Chuang (b. Penghu Island, Taiwan) is a professional artist based in Hsinchu City with over 30 years of practice. Chuang collects everyday materials from his surroundings and, with his skilled craftsmanship and unique vision, transforms street wood and recycled objects into incredible works of organic art. His woodcarvings reveal not only the vitality and form of life, but also the profound concepts embedded within.

Taiwanese American Arts Council one of the 2025 Governors Island Arts Organizations in Residence.
