Join this year’s Orga­ni­za­tions in Res­i­dence every THIRD Sat­ur­day from May-Octo­ber for spe­cial indoor and out­door activ­i­ties and pub­lic pro­grams. All events are free and open to all.

The final THIRD Sat­ur­day of the 2025 sea­son will fea­ture inflat­able sculp­tures by Mookn­ta­ka with pro­jec­tion map­ping by Jarid Blue; a new iter­a­tion of Junkanooa­come by Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow co-pre­sent­ed with KODA; and a visu­al and son­ic per­for­mance by the mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary duo of Olga Panchenko and Ger­ry Gon­za­les Ses­tra Kuya, curat­ed by Nicole Coop­er and co-pre­sent­ed with Cli­mate Imag­i­nar­i­um. The day will cul­mi­nate with Sal­ly Beaty Twin’s Illu­mi­nat­ed Species Parade, fea­tur­ing cos­tumes inspired by Gov­er­nors Island’s biodiversity.

  • 11am-5pm: The Rhythm of Being Loved solo exhi­bi­tion, Tai­wanese Amer­i­can Arts Council
  • 11am-5pm: The Painter­ly Eye, West Harlem Art Fund
  • 11am-5pm: Eco-Art on Island, Tai­wanese Amer­i­can Arts Council
  • 11am-5pm: Island Eye — A Stu­dent Show­case, For­est for Trees Collective
  • 1pm: Rad Jet — Three New Musi­cal Com­po­nents, Tai­wanese Amer­i­can Arts Council
