Through Roots and Land—A Memory-Sharing Workshop

In this par­tic­i­pa­to­ry gath­er­ing, artist Bong­su Park will invite par­tic­i­pants to share mem­o­ries and per­son­al sto­ries con­nect­ed to plants, home, and migra­tion. Through scent, con­ver­sa­tion, and col­lec­tive sto­ry­telling, par­tic­i­pants will reflect on plants and places that hold per­son­al or cul­tur­al mem­o­ries. With per­mis­sion, select­ed sto­ries and voic­es will become audio­vi­su­al mate­r­i­al for Bong­su’s pre­sen­ta­tion at Flux Fac­to­ry on Octo­ber 4, con­tribut­ing to an evolv­ing archive of place, move­ment, and com­mu­ni­ty. No artis­tic expe­ri­ence is required.
