Through October 31
10AM-4PM
Nolan Park - Building 20B
Based on Governors Island, Billion Oyster Project is restoring oyster populations to New York Harbor in collaboration with NYC communities and through public education initiatives, in turn improving water quality, fostering new marine habitats, and creating greater coastal resilience. Throughout this season, Billion Oyster Project’s house will hold an oyster display, inviting visitors to learn more about ecosystems and these engineers, their importance to New York Harbor, and how everyone can get involved.
