DuYe Moves will present a vari­ety of dynam­ic cul­tur­al drum and dance class­es, arts & crafts work­shops for all ages, and inti­mate porch and liv­ing room con­certs. Fea­tured class­es include tra­di­tion­al African, Sam­ba and yoga with live drum­ming, Hula, Afro Dance, Qigong and Tai Chi. 

This year’s theme is Beloved Com­mu­ni­ty, Roots Deep. Addi­tion­al pro­gram­ming includes Sound Bath Sun­days, visu­al art exhi­bi­tions, and works in progress by writ­ers, chore­o­g­ra­phers, and the­atre artists. Their res­i­den­cy is a love let­ter to NYC — a sanc­tu­ary for art and con­nec­tion where artists and the pub­lic flour­ish together.
