New York Latin American Art Triennial
Through November 2
Nolan Park - Nolan Park - Building 18
The New York Latin American Art Triennial (NYLAAT) is dedicated to organizing exhibitions of contemporary art and cultural programming through which it seeks to promote and enrich our Latin American culture. These exhibitions are intended to provide diverse educational programs that allow a place to engage with contemporary art expressions and investigate a deeper understanding of its role in society. NYLAAT believes in the fundamental role of education and advocacy through art and in the preservation of the artistic and historic cultural legacies of the Latin American and Caribbean region. The organization seeks to galvanize the cultural landscape of these communities, complement the academic and visual arts programs of participating galleries and institutions, and foster a wider appreciation of contemporary art and cultural understanding.
The 2026 Artists in Residence and Exhibition Programs are dedicated to nurturing artistic innovation and celebrating Latin American culture. This year’s program will empower artists to thrive in today’s dynamic art scene, presenting seven exhibitions, including explorations of Minute Camera history and material as poetry. The program curates thought-provoking contemporary art that enriches and promotes Latine American culture broadly.
