Noo Arts

Noo Arts (Noos­phere Arts, Inc) is a 501c3 orga­ni­za­tion and cul­tur­al cen­ter led by a team of inter­na­tion­al cre­atives whose back­grounds blend the arts and sci­ences. Noo Arts presents col­lab­o­ra­tive, mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary expe­ri­ences at the nexus of art and eco-aware­ness that unite music, dance, visu­al arts, the­ater, film, poet­ry & prose. Noo Arts aims to ele­cate the voic­es of his­tor­i­cal­ly mar­gin­al­ized pop­u­la­tions and is dri­ven by a desire to ignite a shift in per­spec­tive from the parts to the whole. Their goal is to instill belief in per­son­al agency and hope through col­lec­tive action. 

Noo Arts’ presents WE ARE NATURE: Trans­for­ma­tion Sto­ries | Bridg­ing Brook­lyn and Gov­er­nors Island, bring­ing togeth­er artists, sci­en­tists, and com­mu­ni­ties in trans­dis­ci­pli­nary exchange to explore how cre­ative col­lab­o­ra­tion can shape eco­log­i­cal, cul­tur­al, and col­lec­tive renew­al. This pro­gram will exam­ine trans­for­ma­tion in these spaces and will invite vis­i­tors to expe­ri­ence Gov­er­nors Island as both a liv­ing nat­ur­al habi­tat and a site in tran­si­tion, mir­ror­ing the shift­ing rela­tion­ship between nature, art, and urban life — an encounter with change as a shared experience.
